Doubts arise about the exact events that transpired during the hunt for Lord Nagokita, while the group tries to ease in into a new normal. Things that our Heroes have been neglecting catch up with them, and as they deal with raising tensions about the future of the Moth and Hirosaka, conflict brews as new hires join the Magistracy and due rewards are denied.

The Magistrates return to Hirosaka after their tense pursuit. They prepare themselves to stay in town for the long haul. They deal with the consequences of Imperial attention to the region and consolidate the power of the Emerald Office.
